My husband and I went to this Mission Viejo store to purchase all our our nursery furniture(crib, dresser/changing table, mattress, glider, ottoman etc. $$$). When checking out, my husband asked about a military discount and the woman we were working with said no, that they didn't have a military discount. Well--come to find out that all Pottery Barn stores offer a military discount. I called the store back two days later to inquire, and I was told that they don't offer a discount on items already on promotion, but that they could honor the discount on my crib mattress. I mentioned that the glider I purchased wasn't on sale either. The woman then agreed that they could honor it on that too, but I'd have to come back after it was delivered. It's not even that I mind waiting, but I'm more dissatisfied with the fact that the employee we were working with made absolutely no effort at the time of purchase to help us save money, and then I even still had to push to get the discount over the phone(which I'll be waiting 10-12 weeks for). Just subscribe to their emails and get 15% off your first order to save yourself a headache,
